Over the past several months, I’ve renewed my interest in the research of 2012, Mayan prophecies, and the like. It certainly seems like it will be just another day on the planet (with the precursor of fears and hype such as we experienced when the year 1999 rolled over to 2000). However, much of what has been written discusses the speeding up of things on the planet (i.e. technology, time, synchronicity, etc.) which we can see and feel around us, and the continued unfolding of our consciousness and our planetary state into a new birth of sorts… the dawning of a new “Golden Age”.
Currently, I’m just finishing Daniel Pinchbeck’s “2012″, but have found, within it, an interweaving of rather noir tales of psychedelic drugs, indiscretions, and personal issues, which I felt detracted from the point; from the gist of the central theme. However, that being said, I still did do some highlighting (as I do in any my books that have significant points I want to remember!) So–once finished, I’ll come back to add some quotes!
